I have been teaching in the Nashville district for 3 years. I have always taught in the 7-9 math/algebra area. This year I will be teaching 8th grade PreAlgebra and 8th grade Algebra 1.
My first year of teaching was at North Heights Junior High in Texarkana. I then taught 5 years at the Ashdown Junior High.
My husband and I have been married for almost 30 years. He is the EAST facilitator at the Ashdown Junior High where he has been teaching for 10 years. All 3 of our children attended the Nashville schools from kindergarten to high school graduation. Our oldest son is beginning his first year of teaching this year in Des Arc. We are the proud parents of 2 puppies, one of which is 4 months old and weighs 52 pounds.
I enjoy reading good books during my free time and traveling with my family.
