I am a proud 1974 graduate of Nashville High School.
I obtained a BS in Business Administration in 1982 from Henderson State University and a BSE Secondary Business Education in 1983. I am also ESL certified.
I seek new ideas and training at the annual state meetings of the Arkansas Association of Alternative Educators.
I became the ALE Instructor in January 2009 for students in grades 9 through 12. I am certified in Business Education and have an ESL Endorsement.
Prior to teaching, I worked 29 years for the same company in the private sector. My career with Nashville Public Schools began as site coordinator for the Elementary and Junior High 21st Century After-School Programs.
My life experiences and seasoned age prepared me to assume the teacher/parental substitute roles students need to successfully navigate and transition in/out of an alternative learning environment.
I married Travis Marshall, a 1973 Nashville graduate. My children are Tenia (Ne-Ne) class of 2005 and Trais (Bo-Bo) class of 2011. I am the proud grandmother of Jerame Debray, who is 4!
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new things, helping folks, and spending time with my namesake (my grandson).
