I began my teaching career at Nashville Elementary School immediately following my December graduation from Texas A&M - Texarkana. I taught in a special education resource classroom from January 2000 until May 2015. Over the 2015 Summer Break I was hired as the Junior High Counselor. I am incredibly excited to begin this new journey in this new position. Mrs. Wallis will be missed in this building, and I would like to thank her for extending her kindness and knowledge to me as I transition into this role.
I am very proud of my family. Clinton Tedford, a Nashville City Police Officer, and I have been married for 14 years. We have two sweet girls, Olivia and Julia. Olivia is a fifth grader and Julia is a Kindergartener.
My girls keep me on my toes, but when I get a little time I enjoy many things. I consider myself a bit of a Crafy Gal... painting, sewing, you name it. This year I took up running. It is something that does not come easy that I have had to work to persevere. Even though I don't get to go very often I love to travel and experience new things with my family.
